Each & every time we lean into this practice feels slightly different. No two practices are the same. Our practice today strengthens and informs our practice tomorrow.
Combining what you have learned about your own body during the first three practices, Integration teaches us how to apply our deeper sense of our body wisdom to every-day movement patterns.
Now we can PLAY, and train our body from a balanced & neutral state, to be stronger and more supportive than it needs to be for all the things we love to do.
Practice Four
Integration
You may notice how your body feels during simple tasks like;
Getting in and out of a vehicle
Standing up after sitting for a while
Carry groceries
Prepping dinner and washing dishes
When our body systems are out of balance, they are holding stress, tension, & fatigue, leading to some parts working too hard, trying their best to support us, while other parts are under utilized, leading to injuries.
Notice sensations and how your body supports you during more complex and dynamic moves like;
Changing speed & direction in sports. How can we be more balanced and dynamic than our competitions?
Timing our jumps & landings with agility
Trusting our body to support us throughout all movements
Noticing & sensing when our body is communicating to us to slow down, rest & unwind to come back to it’s neutral balance & integrity
